Whats your favorite mmorpg
Whats your favorite mmorpg
Just a couple things that has to be taken into account before you answer.
It has to be completely free. GW has a cover price so it doesn't count. It can have payment options for special items and whatnot but the majority of the game can be played for free. Like in Maple story you can buy outfits but its not necessary.
A game that's still updated frequently enough.
Runescape doesn't count ^_^
I'm looking for a new mmo right now to play since I kinda quit GW. Three years is a bit much for one game lol.

The only free MMORPG that managed to grab my attention for more than 5 days was Dungeon Runners, and even then it's more fun on a premium account.

Back when I was 11, I played Runescape for a few months before I decided to pay for membership. Seeing as that was my first and last completely free MMO I actually played...I guess that's my favorite? Oo

You should change title to "favorite FREE mmorpg".
My favorite free to play MMORPG is playing traditional RPGs by email...
more fun than anything else that's free.

Some MMOs I enjoyed but eventually quit:
Ether saga online: the animations and game felt kinda crude, gonna try it again though.
Zu online: I'm a sucker for cell shading, but if you don't spend a lot of money forget the endgame
Dream of Mirror: again another game with cell shading, but the fact that maxing your job levels was the most important things isn't my cup of tea.
The only other free game I enjoy is battlefield heroes because the game is very simple and relaxing.
These are the ones I actually enjoyed for a while.

^ I know. I remember watching a high lv Jedi fought 1 on 1 with an equally high lv bounty hunter, it was awesome. Just for the fact that it was bloody hard enough to do all of the quests to unlock a Jedi slot, lv up, build a saber and learn the skills. Same with the bounty hunter, all those gears must have cost him/her millions in credits.
I'm looking forward to The Old Republic.
